VCTM 2015 Academy: Making Math Meaningful Virginia Beach Resort Hotel & Conference Center

In order to register for the Academy, you must be a member of VCTM. If you are not currently a member, you may join for $20 by going to our membership page. When registering, please be sure to fill in all information, including t-shirt size. We hope that you will also sign up for the banquet on your registration form although that is optional.
Making Math Meaningful
Participants must register for a particular grade band. Participants may not switch between grade bands during the day. Each grade band is limited to 30 participants. When a band is filled, we will have a waiting list for any cancellations that occur before the conference. You can sign up on the waiting list if a section is full. We will fill any cancellations in the order members are entered on the waiting list by grade level.
Academy Registration ($100)Includes:
6 sessions over a day and a half within each grade band
Continental breakfast both mornings
Lunch on Friday
Academy T-shirt
Friday Evening Awards Banquet ($35) begins with hors d'oeuvres and cash bar at 5:30 pm and continues with a buffet dinner including garden salad, grilled chicken breast, grilled tuna, sliced sirloin beef, whipped potatoes, rice pilaf, fresh vegetables, bakery rolls, and dessert. The dinner will conclude by honoring grant winners, the VCTM Scholarship winners, the Presidential Award Finalists, and presenting VCTM's Educator of the Year Awards to 5 deserving individuals. We hope you will join us for this special event.
Payment for the Academy is by Paypal using a credit card or a Paypal account, or by purchase order. We are only accepting online registration for this event as space is limited to 30 per grade band. We will accept a purchase order IF the PO number is provided in the online registration AND immediately followed up with an emailed copy of the PO including participant(s) names sent to vctmath@gmail.com

Rooms have been blocked for the conference on the nights of Thursday, March 5 and Friday, March 6, 2015.
Call the Virginia Beach Resort Hotel at (800) 468-2722 and mention VCTM Annual Conference when making your reservation in order to receive the conference rate.
Make your reservation by February 4th to get the group rate.
Singe or Double Room - $94 plus tax
Triple Room (2-bedroom suite) - $104 plus tax
Quad Room (2-bedroom suite) - $114 plus tax
Note: These rates will apply through the weekend if you choose to take advantage of staying over until Sunday.
