Children are born to learn through play. Classroom play promotes communication, critical thinking, and problem solving skills. Math teachers across the state are developing and utilizing creative and purposeful play activities and math games that build understanding and make math learning and practice fun. Presenters will delve into their teacher toolboxes and share play activities and games that reinforce the newly implemented standards and basic skills, get students actively engaged in learning math, and hold students accountable for their own learning.
